According to Fars news agency from Birjand, Asadollah Hatami, Director General of Environmental Protection of South Khorasan, announced to the media today: According to the current index (3:00 p.m.), the air condition in Zirkoh with an index of 500 is in a dangerous condition.

He added: In this situation, all members of the society, especially the elderly, children, and people with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, should avoid unnecessary traffic in the open air.

Regarding the situation of other cities with air monitoring stations in the province, he said: the air quality of Birjand and Sarayan is acceptable. Clean air is the right of every human being and the authorities and the government should try to provide a clean environment for people's health

وی افزود: در این شرایط همه افراد جامعه و به طور ویژه سالمندان، کودکان و افراد دارای بیماری‌های قلبی و عروقی و تنفسی از تردد غیر ضرور در فضای باز خودداری کنند.

وی درخصوص وضعیت سایر شهرستان‌های دارای ایستگاه پایش هوا در استان گفت: کیفیت هوای بیرجند و سرایان در وضعیت قابل قبول است. هوای پاک حق هر انسان است و مسئولان و دولت باید بکوشد برای سلامت و محیط پاک تمیز برای مردم محیا کند
